Andrew James Hymel is the owner, proprietor, and music director of Andy Hymel School of Music in Gretna, Louisiana, just outside of New Orleans. It is a success story that has blossomed from one mans dream of music education into a consortium of teachers and students who strive for excellence and value the importance of the preservation of the arts in todays New Orleans.

When asked about his Post Katrina experience, Hymel relied, "It was scary to reopen the school and it was like starting over, but I felt the community needed something to use as an outlet for the emotions caused by Katrina. We weren't just rebuilding a music school; we were rebuilding the minds and souls of our students and their families."

Andy Hymel earned a degree in Jazz Performance from Loyola

University in New Orleans, LA. At a young age, his musical talents developed from jamming with neighborhood musicians in the Algiers area, notably Frank Saucier, a regular solo artist at Kerrys Irish Pub in the French Quarter. In the 80s, he honed his guitar skills at the Worlds Fair with the vocal group Celebration and is to this day appreciative of that opportunity.

While his music accomplishments were self-developed, his community involvement and business acumen were mostly inspired by his dad.

His father, Lloyd Hymel, is a pillar of the Algiers community and an elder of Saint Andrews the Apostle Church. He was Chairman of the West Bank Chamber of Commerce, President of the Petroleum Club and the West Bank Rotary Club, and Vice President of AMF Tuboscope in Harvey, Louisiana.

One of his brothers, Philip Hymel, is the Chief Financial Forecaster of Entergy New Orleans and recently served as President of the University of New Orleans Alumni Association. Another brother, David Hymel, is in the oil and gas business and for years organized the oil field Chili Cook Off; recently at Boomtown Casino and previously at Alvin Andrew Callender Naval Airforce Base in Belle Chasse, Louisiana.

Another brother, Greg, owned and operated a Zacks Frozen Yogart franchise and is a Ginger Baker Cream style drummer. His is also an artist/painter and is displayed in several restauraunts in the New Orleans area. Obviously, the senior Mr. Hymel set a solid foundation for his children to excel in business and community development.

With that said, it is apparent that Andy Hymel has parlayed his strong family values and love of music instruction from a work at home business into a full blown, reputable, school of music.

Branching off from the security of working from home, Hymel first opened his school at 601 Terry Parkway in Gretna, LA, in an area commonly known as Terrytown. What started as a handful of students quickly blossomed into a full school of music with 280 students strong and has had to relocate to a larger building at 1800 Stumph Boulevard. Predominantly a guitar teacher, he also teaches piano and bass. His drum instructor, Jumpin Joe Gelini, graduated from Berklee School of Music in Boston, a great accomplishment considering only 2% of those who attend Berklee actually graduate. The school has a wide variety of teachers, including band directors and vocal coaches, covering several instruments and genres. Even Hymels high school guitar teacher from Holy Cross is on the payroll!

Mr. Hymel (not his dad Lloyd) believes that music education can start at the Pre-K level and has programs and original songs in place for the youngest of students. He also has courses geared for Baby Boomers as well.

In between those age groups, one of his most amazing accomplishments is that 5 of his students have received full scholarships to various schools of music and EVERY one of his 10 students who have applied to NOCCA was accepted on their first audition!

One former student begins as an understudy this fall with the Metropolitan Opera Association. Another, Alex Zander, is a published singer/songwriter. Alex is an entire story yet to be written. Stay tuned.

In addition to his accomplishments as a teacher and entrepreneur, he has written and recorded hundreds of original songs and his efforts are starting to be recognized. Most notably. the son of Clarenece Frogman Henry, marketing himself as Clarence Frogman Henry Jr. , is considering many of Hymels songs for his soon to be released CD.

1. Niche Yourself

Yes, I know you have heard this many times and it couldnt be truer! One of the biggest mistakes a speaker can make is having too general of a topic. You want to narrow your expert niche as much as possible. Become the Speaker of Choice, research your topic industry so you know whats hot and whats not. Take that research and develop a niche around it, be sure it is something you have experience with and will be able to present it as a professional expert speaker in that field.

Dont waste your time, energy and money on developing a niche that just isnt going to get any recognition because it isnt something that planners will be looking for! Do your research and I do put emphasis on this tip! Once you have discovered your niche, you must continue to practice your speaking skills and update your material and presentations to keep-up with the trends and changing issues.

2. Build your credibility

There are many ways to build your credibility and become known as an expert, but this tip is about building your credibility by knowing your audience.

Your job as a presenter is to take the context you will present and put it into a form that your audience will understand and can relate to. You want them to really understand what youre saying. Always remember your presentation is not about you, its about the audience, what they want to know, and what they want to know is whats in it for me? How will you help their business grow?...How will you help them save timesave money...How will you make them feel!

Vision yourself sitting in the audience you will be presenting to and ask yourself, What do I want to get out of this?, What do I want to learn?, Whats in it for me? Once you can perceive yourself as a participant of the audience than you can start putting the pieces together in building a top notch presentation that your audience will remember and one that will have members coming to you and asking you to get your schedule out because they want to book you.

The more you relate to your audience, the more you know your audience, the better your chance of building your credibilityyou have an audience that is happy, engaged and drawn to you and one that is sayingHey, this speaker knows his stuffhe knows us!

3. Develop an eye-catching media kit

Planners get hundreds if not thousands of proposals and media kits every year. You have to wow them immediately to grab their attention, before they set it down and go to the next one!

Make sure that your media kit is up to date, precise and professionally put together. Nothing else turns away a meeting planner or organization more than an unattractive, boring, and unorganized media kit. They wont even bother with it nor have the time of day to look over the remaining contents if they don't like what they see at first glance and many times the hours, days and money you have spent in putting it together are now wasted as it sits on the planners shelf gathering dust. I know this seems a bit harsh, but being on the inside I know this to be true, as I have seen it many times, so just spend some time on your kit when putting it together or possibly re-do the one you already have, remember you want to catch the eye of the reader to draw them into reading more.

4. Have an online presence

Develop a website with information on your experience, topics you cover, promotional material available and testimonials from previous clients. You dont need a big, fancy, or expensive website to attract visitors and the attention of meeting planners, just make sure you are catering to the planners needs and have the information easily accessible and downloadable. If youre an article writer make sure you add your articles to your own site.

If your budget doesnt allow for your own web site, join speakers organizations and add your name to their online listings - The more exposure you get, the better your chances of being found by people seeking speakers.

5. Work with meeting planners

Very important: be willing to work with them. Dont be so stubborn that you talked yourself right out of one of the most important speaking engagements of your career. Most planners are eager to work with the speaker, but you also have to be willing to give a little to get a lot. Remember you want to be a magnet to planners and the hiring company, not an itch under their skin. So be pleasant and be negotiable and give them the best performance possible and in return they will continue to book you and recommend you!

You want to position yourself within the meeting planner realm as being enjoyable to work with, fun, and easy-going! Trust me on this one, there is nothing worse then working with a stubborn, un-pleasant speaker who is unwilling to budge or negotiate, it doesnt matter if they are well-known or have years of experience, planners dont have the time for this nor want to deal with it. I also want to mention, dont be too quick to pass on a free speaking engagement as this can bring you more opportunities (Many great enterprises were built from small opportunities)

6. Introduce yourself as a contingency speaker

This is one way to get your foot in the door. One of the biggest fears of a meeting planner is a no-show or cancellation of the scheduled speaker. You can send out a letter via e-mail or regular mail to event planners, program managers, etc.

Your initial contact with the event planner should be on eliminating one of their largest fears. If you have a properly written letter and have done your research, you will more than likely make an immediate friend. This is where the business relationship begins and in most cases, the event planner or hiring authority will book you in because you have approached them this way.

7. Marketing yourself

Add this to your weekly business tasks, this is of course a must, if you dont market you all know they wont find you! You have to go to themlet them know you are unique, you are knowledgeable, you are the best and that you can knock the socks off their audience. Prose vs. Poetry

Prose - a simple word that confuses so many people. What is it exactly? According to dictionary.com:

1.the ordinary form of spoken or written language, without metrical structure, as distinguished from poetry or verse.

2.matter-of-fact, commonplace, or dull expression, quality, discourse, etc.

Prose encompasses most of the writing and speaking we engage in today, including what I am writing here. It is everything from novels to blog entries to television/films and everything in between. Prose is simply a fancy literary term used to separate general writing from poetry or verse. (Though, just to confuse you, we do have prose poetry, the halibun and free verse which can muddy any clear distinction.) Prose is typically written in plain language, follows the standard rules of grammar and punctuation and is arranged in paragraphs. It often reflects ordinary speech patterns. In fiction, writers do develop different styles of writing and employ various techniques to add interest for readers, but the writing is still considered prose.

Now that you understand a little about prose, lets discuss poetry. Most people recognize poetry if they see a traditional poem. For instance, writing that has lines similar in length (each starting with a capital letter, of course), is arranged in stanzas, and has rhyme at the end of the lines. Most of us were taught about this type of poetry around the third or fourth grade. But poetry is so much more complex and varied than that simple example. In fact, those few things dont necessarily define poetry at all.

Poetry is much more than just a few basics such as the form in which it is written, some general meter and rhyme. Modern poetry often deviates from traditional poetic form and rules. Poetry presentation has, once again, become somewhat artistic for some poets who write in everything from couplets to verse paragraphs. These lines can also be arranged on a page to enhance the visual appeal of the poem (as in shape poems), to aid in the rhythm of the poem (adding space between words to create longer pauses while reading aloud, for instance) or to add to the meaning or irony of a poem by causing words to appear in specific places. Standard punctuation and capitalization practices are falling by the wayside, as well, for many contemporary poets.

This still has little to do with poetry itself. So, how do we define poetry? I think Iowan, Paul Engle, had the right idea with is explanation: Poetry is ordinary language raised to the Nth power. Poetry is boned with ideas, nerved and blooded with emotions, all held together by the delicate, tough skin of words. That, to me, is what poetry is, but I would be doing you a disservice if I didnt break it down somewhat. I am not providing definitions, they are easy enough to come by.

Books have the lowest margin of any information product. A CD costs $1 to $2 to duplicate and sells for $15 and up. A DVD costs $1.50 to $3 and sells for $20 and up. A multimedia course with manuals, CDs, and DVDs may sell for $100 to $1,000 or more.

A book printed in low numbers costs $3 to $5 and sells for $20 or less in most cases. Can you make money from a book? Yes...but I would never want to be in a position where I had to make money from a book.

They're an entry product and they're a tool for generating publicity.

I would never recommend a book for someone's first information product. Start with a CD, DVD, or even an eBook. If that proves successful, then consider a book.

While not everyone should publish a book...every consultant, coach, and information product developer, and professional speaker should!

Let's say we're both consultants or coaches and we're talking to a business owner. You sit down on the plane beside them and give them your card. When they ask me what I do, I hand them my card and my book.

Who stands out as an expert in the field?

Now let's say we both contact radio stations and offer to do an interview. You tell them how you coach people about success in business. I tell them the same thing and send them my book. Who stands out as the expert in this case?

The book author does...Face it. You might know more than the author right now, but they will often be perceived as the more knowledgable expert because they put it in a book. Will the radio host read the book? Not likely...There are some pretty crappy books that get major publicity.

That's enough on that before I get myself into trouble.

If you want to be perceived as an expert in your field...create a book. You don't even have to write it yourself. Put together the materials and hire a ghostwriter to create it if you want.

Now let's say you want your book to be a profit center. It can definitely be that, but it requires you to create large scale publicity. If you do an interview on a major radio station, you can sell 300 books or more.

If you were published by a publishing house, you might only get $1 per book. So that appearance was worth $300. Using POD publishing, you might be averaging $10 a book...so you earn $3,000. That's not bad for the hour interview. Get a major TV appearance...and you can sell tens of thousands.

You can also do book signings and other events to sell more books...but remember this all requires you to do something. If you want a fully automated business, books are not the job for you (although you could have a PR agent making the contacts for you). There are other products where this can be done much easier. The math simply doesn't work out for paid advertising in most cases.

When I work with a author, I like them to have additional products and services to sell on the backend. Sure...it's nice to make money selling your book. What else do you have? Do you have a CD set or a DVD showing your techniques in more detail? Do you offer consulting or coaching on the backend? That's where the real money is in books for the average author.

List Building And Affiliate Marketing Go Hand-in-hand

If you're into Internet marketing as an affiliate for someone else's program, how are you advertising your opportunity? I mean, are you just putting out the same old stale page that everybody else uses, or are you building your own page and list building at the same time?

Unless it's specifically stated in your affiliate agreement, and the means you use isn't illegal, such as spamming, you can use any means to sell a product. Generally, affiliate pages, emails, and so on are there for your convenience. They at least get 80% of the people moving, who might otherwise take no action at all. Here's the thing: 20% of the people will be active affiliates, and they're having greater success because they're treating the affiliate program as part of their own businesses. They're more creative, they get more sales, and everyone's happy.

Setting up a list building page to sell your affiliate product is something you should take action on. Give a review of the product away on your list building page, to entice people to sign up for your list. If you're going to do that, be sure that you can stand behind the product, that you have used it, and proved that it works. The review can be 250 words or less.

Your review should include information on the features that benefit the user. It should also give the cons of the product. Nothing is 100% great. Usually, there are small things that you would change, if you had a magic wand. Let people know those, too. If your review is too glowing, it won't seem real. Make it real. Here's what I mean:

Why Do Most People Who Try Affiliate Marketing Fail?

Isn't affiliate marketing great? You get to sleep late, sit around all day, and only occasionally have to pop over to the computer to check how much money you've made in the last hour. A job anyone would kill for.

Except that that's not quite the truth.

Many of you will have a rather different experience of affiliate marketing one involving lost money, scams, and endless frustration when the profits you were told you would make just never appear. Others will never have got to that stage, but they'll still have the same feeling: that all affiliate marketers are scammers, selling a dream that is impossible for most to achieve.

If you're feeling like that, stop it. Because it's not true. Affiliate marketing is difficult. But it's not impossible, and not all the gurus' are scammers. Some are genuine, and really will help you, if you let them. It is possible to succeed.

So why do most wannabe affiliate marketers fail?

1. They give their money to scammers who then give them useless information.

Many scammers, after they've taken your money, will offer a cheap e-book to download. Sometimes this is stolen from another site, but more often it's something they've written in twenty minutes when they remembered that they needed to offer people something. That means it will be filled with useless information that the scammer probably knows nothing about and if you try to follow it, you might soon conclude that affiliate marketing is impossible and you were a fool for even trying.

2. They don't have enough patience.

It takes time for the money to start coming in. You need to build up a steady stream of traffic and a mailing list before you can think about earning serious cash. When they only earn a few dollars a day, or fail to receive the thousands they were expecting, many people get disillusioned and decide that they're better off with the day job.

3. They don't follow the instructions properly.

I know. Why would you spend your money on an affiliate marketing course only to ignore what it says? But people do. They think they know better than the pros who have been doing this for years. And they usually end up making a mess of it, losing money on unprofitable advertising techniques that don't work. But, of course, they don't blame themselves and go back to try to work out where they went wrong. They blame the course they bought, and decide it must have been sold by a scammer a scammer, like everyone else who claims they make a living affiliate marketing!

4. They think they're not clever or skilled enough.

Normally, they're wrong. Affiliate marketing really is very simple. You need intelligence and initiative to become one of the top affiliates, yes but if you just want to earn some extra money, all you need to do is follow instructions. Buy an affiliate marketing course and do what it says. Too many people sit there and think I can't'.

5. They decide it's too much work.

They get taken in by the promises that they can make money going to the cinema, watching TV, washing their hair. In truth, there's a bit of work to do before you get to that stage like setting up a website and promoting it, for starters! As soon as they realise that it's not going to be as easy as they thought, they give up. The truth is, there's no such thing as money you don't have to work for (lottery winners excluded!).

Make Money With Top Search Engine Rankings

Its no secret that Google gets most of the traffic on the internet, followed closely by Yahoo and MSN back in third place.So if we're going to beat the next guy at getting some free search engine traffic what is required and where would you start?

Well first of all you have to realise that you aren't likely to rank at the top of most keywords overnight, infact it can take months of hard work to rank for high traffic keywords so the key here is to start with keywords you can target that don't have a lot of competition.This makes your job 50% easier before you even load a page to the internet.

Next lets look at the specific engines, google takes the longest to rank for out of the top 3 so I like to look closely at MSN search because my experience tells me that even though they dont get anywhere the same amount of traffic I can rank higher and faster here.So my first port of call is to do keyword research specifically with MSN in mind.I use a few tools here but by far the easiest way to do this is to use the free keyword reseach tool at digitalpoint.com .Here you can check keyword patterns and traffic patterns for your desired keywords to see how many searches are performed in the major engines, and also to find spin off keywords you probably would'nt have considered before.You can also check both Overture and Wordtrackers results against each other here to get a feel for how the traffic patterns are going to be for a top rank with your selected keyword.

A rule of thumb I use for MSN is that the traffic for any keyword I search in digital points tool is divided by approx 3-4 to give me an idea of the traffic in MSN.So if my desired keyword had 1000 searches per day according to both Wordtracker and Overture then I can confidently say a number 1 rank in MSN should provide about 300 searches.This doesnt mesn you will get 300 hits , in fact you may only get about half the searchers hit your site through MSN or any search engines for that matter even if you rank # 1.

So now I can confidently say a top rank for that keyword will provide approx 150 hits or visitors per day.So now we have chosen a keyword that looks good whats next?

Check out the competition on MSN.Theres no point choosing words that you realistically will never rank for .The competition pays big money to be at the top so unless you have the same budget stay away from that game.Those so called gurus of the internet will squash you .My reccommendation is to rank for terms that have less traffic and thats easier to get to #1, especially in MSN.

So what am I looking for when it it comes to my competition ? well we all know that relevant , theme related inbound, 1 way links from authority sites are the easiest way to rank # 1 or top 10.

In fact it doesnt take too many high quality inbound links to rank for thousands upon thousands of terms.So here is where the fun begins, After you have uploaded your site and optimised the page with all the relevant html tags etc then gathering links to your page is the single most important task you can undertake to rank.I am not an authority on link gathering but here are a few suggestions.

Write high quality articles about your chosen subject or pay someone to write articles , then submit them to the free article directories, here your article will be picked up by other webmasters and placed on their site with your link on them, This can create many many 1 way links very quickly for your page.

Approach other webmasters in your chosen topic and request link exchange(I personally dont do this as its boring and outdated and honestly is very time consuming)

Use social bookmark sites like del.ici.us to get your content out there and also to get you links from your tags.The search engines love social bookmark sites, I use about 25 of them and they always provide high quality 1 way links, and often with very high PR.

Write a blog about your site and link to it then feed that blog using rss or other syndication methods.this can also provide 1 way links and better results in the search engines.

Buy links. Yes buy them , a few high quality , related links with good Google Page Rank will help massively.

These few ideas I use every day and many more to get traffic and beat the next guy in the engines, especially MSN.

So there you have it a few small ideas to get you moving so go forth and "make money".

So the only thing left to do after you have achieved a top rank for a number of keyword terms is to make money from them and here are my top two ideas for making money that I use everyday.

1) Google adsense, Sign up free and place the ad code on your page and you will earn a share of each and every click visitors make from those ad blocks.

There are dozens of other places you can earn on a "pay per click " basis but Google stands out head and shoulders above the rest in my opinion.

2) Affiliate marketing, If your site or page is about losing weight, then sign up free as an affiliate to any one of hundreds of sites that sell these type of products .Then place a link on your page which has your personal code embedded into it and if a visitor clicks on your link and decides to buy then you will recieve a share of that sale.Sometimes as high 70% of that sale.

I've recently noticed an increase in articles, seminars and books on branding and in particular personal branding - perhaps because it is one of the areas I speak and consult on. I have a keen interest in this area, as I believe it is integral to the success of any company no matter what size.

So what is personal branding?

I believe personal branding is really personal public relations. Public relations is "relationships" with your "public" and it's about how you or your business is seen and how you interact with other people that will build your reputation.

After all business and companies are based on people. People make products for people. People sell to and serve other people and people work with people and for people.

As a business owner you are the public face of your organisation. You represent what that company stands for.

If we want our business or ourselves to succeed, we need to be in personal alignment with what our company represents. Not everyone loves their job - but boy does it help if our personal aims, vision and values are in alignment with what that organisation represents. Why not share with your suppliers and customers your values and vision for your company.

Access Your PC From Anywhere

There are several services available now that allow you to remotely access your computer from any other machine in the world, as long as it is connected to the internet. The good news is that Windows XP Professional has this functionality built into the operating system. In this article, I am going to show you how to configure your Windows XP Professional computer to support remote access using the Remote Desktop feature.

To use Remote Desktop you will need the following:

A host computer (the one you want to access remotely) that is running Microsoft Windows XP Professional and is connected to the Internet.

A client computer (the one you will use when remotely accessing your PC) running Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me), Microsoft Windows 98, Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition, Microsoft Windows 2000, Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, or Microsoft Windows 95, with access to the Internet.

Appropriate user accounts and permissions configured on the remote Windows XP Professional to allow remote access.

The IP address of your home computer. You can figure this out by going to a site like http://www.whatismyip.com. The only problem with this is that your ISP may dynamically change this address from time to time. I would recommend using a free dynamic DNS provider, such as http://www.no-ip.com. This will allow you to assign a public DNS record to your computer, such as http://yourcomputer.no-ip.com. You will need to have tcp port 3389 open on your firewall. If your machine is behind a firewall or NAT router you will need to forward traffic on tcp port 3389 to your host computer.

How to Configure the Remote Desktop service

On the host computer, go to the control panel and double click the system icon. Click the Remote tab, and then click to select the Allow users to connect remotely to this computer check box. Administrators are granted access by default, but there is an option to add other user accounts if needed. Click on OK to save your changes.

Connecting to your computer

On the client PC, you will need a software client called Remote Desktop Connection. Computers running Windows XP Home and Professional already have this client installed. If you are connecting from a client PC that is running another version of windows, you will need to install the Remote Desktop Connection software. You can download the software for free from Microsoft's website. The next step is to run the Remote Desktop Connection software so you can connect to your computer. To do this, Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to Communications, and then click Remote Desktop Connection. From here you just need to enter the IP address or DNS host name and click on connect.

Obviously, there are security implications that need to be considered when opening ports on you firewall or NAT router and exposing your machine to the internet. Please consider all of the security risks and decide whether or not this method will work for you.

Revealed, You Need a US Bank Account to Make Money Online!

Yes, it has been revealed, that you need a US Bank account to make and retain money online. No matter where you live, if you are going to make any amount of money online and be able to retain or save same, you need to have a US bank account.

We all have Bank accounts in our respective home countries or residences. No problem with that - it is easy to get. We need this to run our lives, do our day to day activities off-line and so on. It is no big deal or a problem. So it is until I got online to make money two years ago.

When you get online and try to make money, then you realize that the rule of the game will change for you. Suddenly you will realize that you need a US Bank account with a Bank over there in the US. Why? Because 80%-90% of the Internet businesses is controlled by people in US / Canada. That is the way it is for now and in the foreseeable future. And I doubt if the equation is ever going to change at all.

When you want to make money online, in most cases the buyer will be a US native who is either using PayPal or a Credit card to pay for things online. You have got to hook up with PayPal by opening an account with them to receive your payments from other PayPal users. But PayPal only allows people from about 50 countries of the world to use her services. In other words, you can not open an account with them if you are not from these 48-50 countries. Then you realize you are stuck.

What is the alternative if this is your situation? Get a Merchant account or a third party payment processor to take credit and debit cards payments for you. From our earlier equation, 80%-90% of the time, the guys will be in the US. When it is time for the card company to transfer your money to you less their charges, you are going to receive a check which might take 2-4 weeks to get to you, depending on your location. You get the check, assuming you are lucky it did not get lost in transit, and deposit the same with your Bank in your home country. Your bank sends the check for collection in US - another 2-4 weeks. In US, your funds get cleared in 2-3 business days. Then you get your credit. Now compare yourself with someone with a US Bank account. He gets paid by what they call ACH (Automated Clearing House) system. This is just an electronic fund transfer system initiated by individual account owners in US to pay others within a network of some banks in US / Canada. This takes just 2-3 days and bang, your money is in your US bank account. It is mostly free to go. In some case you pay a token. I pay $3 to receive ACH into my US Bank account. I live in Africa and I have access to my funds by use of the Card issued to me by the US bank. I can withdraw money daily at the ATM in my country, no problem! My problem is to make the money go into my US bank account:-

Also I can use my Card to buy things online, a privilege not enjoyed by many especially in the developing and under-developed countries.

Now you can see that it is a must for you to have a US bank account if you want to make and retain money from the Internet. But getting one is one of your greatest nightmare as a non-resident.

A non-resident refers to the non-US citizens, having no residential base in the country. It is generally put in to the use by the country's banking sector.

The banking laws as it concerns a non-resident is very strict. It is almost impossible if you do not know how to go about it. The thing is complex and complicated and most Banks will just avoid doing this for non-residents. For them it is a mine field which only a few have mastered. I spent 4 years researching this after I found myself in the above situation earlier mentioned. In my case I even had money trapped with PayPal, after opening my account in PayPal with a US mailing address (perfectly legal).

Now let us look briefly at how you can set up a US Bank account as non-resident of US.

First option is that you set up a company, incorporate one and have an office presence in the United States. Very expensive option you know. How many of us can afford this?

Second option is have someone do it for you for a fee ranging from $400-$800. Expensive also.

Third option is buy the info. They are a few good Reports that will show you how to do this by yourself. The price for the Reports ranges from $20 - $97. This was the option that I used to get my own US bank account.

Whichever option that you decide to follow is entirely up to you.

You can do some searching at a place like Google.

You could pay for the information or get a company or someone to do it for you at a fee. It depends on you and your pocket.

You need not to incorporate a US Company before you can get a US Bank account. That is an expensive approach.

So go ahead and get your own US Bank account now. Do not wait until tomorrow as the laws are constantly changing. What is possible today may not be possible tomorrow. ACT fast. Good Luck.
